A wide, grippy base your can, bottle or tumbler wears. It rocks and settles upright.

I like to sit in the corner seat of my sectional, so there’s no table on either side of me. These are the perfect solution without having to get up every time I want to take a sip.Andrea · Aug 18, 2026
We have a deep couch and 3 dogs who love to jump on it. I have tried so many trays and holders, and none of them have worked. … My husband was skeptical, but even he is now impressed.Erin · May 28, 2026

Does it really hold
Two 40 oz tumblers stand side by side on a grey armchair cushion, one seated in a black Steadi, one bare. The bare tumbler tips onto its side. The seated one stays standing in the same spot. No hands, no cuts, no text, no sound.
A white Steadi holding an open can sits on a dark leather couch seat. A boy flops down onto the couch beside it. The can stays standing. No cuts, no sound.
Wide underneath.Flexible around the drink.Planted where you set it.
It resists tipping. Nothing makes a drink spill-proof, and we won't tell you otherwise.
Everything you have tried clamps the furniture. The arm, the edge, the console. Steadi holds the drink, so it goes where the drink goes.

1 · How many
Both arm accessories are $19.99, and both of them need an arm.
IKEA Rödeby armrest tray — a flat armrest 4–12 inches wide. CouchCoaster — an arm at least 5.5 inches wide. Steadi — the bottom inch of your drink. The comparison, with sources ↓

One color per person. Nobody drinks from the wrong can.
A set costs exactly what the plain pack costs.
Will yours fit? Measure the bottom of your drink, not the top. A base of 2 to 3 inches settles in fully, and the fins flex to take a base up to 3.15 inches — snug, and it seats with a push. Your 40 oz Stanley fits.
The one common no: a handled mug. The handle lands right where a fin needs to grip.

Will it fit my cup
Container bases 2 to 3 inches across settle in fully. The flexible fins accept slightly wider bases up to 3.15 inches — a snug fit that seats with a push. Under 2 inches sits too loose; over 3.15 doesn't seat.
A sticky note is exactly 3 inches. Set your cup on one: if the base sits inside the square, it's in range.
Snug tumbler? Pull the Steadi off the cup rather than the cup out of the Steadi.
Right at the edge — 1.85 to 2 inches, or 3.15 to 3.3? Email hello@steadilabs.com with the cup. Honest answer either way.
Where drinks tip

There's no Steadi in these — that's the point.
Every fix you've tried fastens to the furniture — the arm, the edge, the console. Steadi goes on the drink, so it goes where the drink goes. Beside you.

Love my Steadis! This is one of those products that you don’t know you’re missing in your life until you use it. I’ve been using these to stabilize our drinks on the couch. This way I can put it right by me rather than a few feet away on the coffee table.
It’s like a cupholder that goes with your drink. Highly recommend, great value for what it does!
I have a tendency to spill my drinks and have two cats. This is one of the best things I’ve ever impulse bought. It works. It actually works. It’s a heavy, wide enough base that it is actually stable. My “spot” in the living room is near a somewhat-cushioned fabric ottoman, which is where I usually put my drinks. It’s totally stable on this cushioned surface. It fits cans, bottlers, glasses. It doesn’t get bent out of shape. It’s exactly what I needed.
Love my Steadi holders! I purchased two but plan to purchase more to give as gifts. Great customer service answering my questions and fast shipping.Where have these been all my life? No more spills on the sofa, trying to balance a drink or a bottle against the pillows. 100% satisfied customer. Great invention.
Absolutely the coolest thing I've bought in the last 10 years. Maybe ever. Changed the way I sit on my couch. Genius. And well made. And fast shipping. These guys are the bomb. Can't live without it. I should do the voice overs for their upcoming commercials. :) Love my Steadi!
Steadi- Just what I was looking for! I purchased these to use at our annual NASCAR race this month. They delivered beyond my expectations. Our seats are metal benches with a slight slope towards the back, making it impossible to set down any type of drink. We were able to use these for a 20oz bottle with a koozie on it as well as a slim can with an insulated Brumate on it! They worked perfect, holding our drinks on the bench & on our cooler. I highly recommend for sporting fans, boaters, outdoor adventures. Thanks for making these!
I love my Steadi can holder. I use an ottoman beside my couch for drinks and remotes. This keeps a can steady and allows me to have a can of soda or water nearby. Im disabled and its hard to get up repeatedly for a drink!
Excellent
Fits my small Stanley water bottle perfectly.
Highly recommended
Sits right next to me on the couch, and now my coffee doesn’t spill
Great stabilizer for around the house. Our drinks love it. 😍
I am so happy. I leave it on my cup 24/7!
Love it!
Our answer: Dishwasher, yes. Microwave, we don’t have an answer we can stand behind, so we won’t give you one.
The Steadi is everything you claimed. I place a tray on the couch cushion next to me with the Steadi, while watching TV. It’s so stable that it doesn’t budge when I get up and sit down. Is the Steadi dishwasher and/or microwave safe.

How it holds
One solid molded piece of TPU. 5.2 inches across, 2.8 inches tall, about 3.6 ounces. No hinges, springs, seams or metal. No clips, no straps, no adhesive — set it down. 100% BPA free. Patent pending.
Rinse it, wipe it with a damp cloth, or run it through the dishwasher.
The honest part
If what you want is a spot for the remote and the snacks too, or your everyday drink is a handled mug, an arm tray is the better buy. Steadi is about the drink — and about the seats that don't have an arm.

Expected it to take wider containersElizabeth · May 22, 2026 · ★★★★☆
Our answer: Fair. The fins stop at 3.15 inches. Wide-mouth bottles are an honest no — see the fit list.
Seems to work okay I though the base would be heavierElisa · May 31, 2026 · ★★★★☆
Our answer: It's meant to be light. Width and grip do the holding, not weight.
not as steady as I would like but it is working just fine. It does slide a little. Overall it was a good purchase.Randee · Aug 20, 2026 · ★★★★☆
Our answer: Sliding means the cup's own bottom is touching the couch. Seat it a little higher so only the Steadi touches, and it plants.

Most cans, bottles, cups and tumblers do: a base 2 to 3 inches across settles in fully, and the fins flex to take up to 3.15 inches, snug. The 40 oz Stanley Quencher fits. Handled mugs and stemmed glasses don't. A sticky note is exactly 3 inches — set your cup on one; if the base sits inside the square, it's in range.
It rocks with the cushion and settles back upright, because the drink and the wide base move as one piece. There's a clip of exactly that under "Does it really hold" above — a boy flops onto a leather couch beside a full can. It resists tipping; a hard, direct knock can still spill a drink — nothing is spill-proof.
No. Nothing to clip, strap or stick. The grippy TPU plants the base where you set it, lifts clean, and marks nothing.
Yes. Rinse it, wipe it with a damp cloth, or run it through the dishwasher.
Because they get claimed. One per seat that isn't next to a table, and a color per person so everyone knows whose drink is whose. The price per Steadi drops as the pack grows: $12.48 each on the 2-Pack, $9.99 on the 4-Pack, $8.74 on the 8-Pack, against $14.95 for one. A set costs the same as the plain pack.

No. Anywhere you'd otherwise not trust a drink: the bed, an ottoman, a blanket, a wobbly patio table, a sloped grandstand bench, a desk full of paper, a boat at the dock. It works better on flat surfaces than on steeply curved ones.
