The whole policy in three lines: Today, our forms are previews and collect nothing. At launch, membership will ask for your email, state, and ZIP — and that data will never be sold, rented, or traded. No tracking cookies, no ad tech, no fine-print surprises.

1. What we collect today: nothing

This is a preview site for an organization in formation. The join form, contact form, donation tiers, and shop are non-functional previews — they don't submit, and nothing you type into them is transmitted or stored. There are no accounts, no payments, and no newsletter sending from this site today.

Like virtually every website, the servers that host this site may keep standard technical logs (such as IP addresses and pages requested) to run and secure the service. We don't use those logs to identify or profile visitors.

2. Cookies and tracking: none today

This site currently sets no cookies. No analytics trackers, no advertising pixels, no social media beacons, no fingerprinting. If we add basic, privacy-respecting analytics at launch to understand aggregate traffic, we'll say so here first — plainly, not buried in a revision log.

3. What we'll collect at launch

When membership opens, joining will ask for the minimum an actual membership requires:

  • Email address — to deliver your weekly newsletter, voting alerts, and legislative updates.
  • State and ZIP code — to connect you with your state chapter and local events.
  • Your name — because members are people, not entries.
  • Preferences you choose — like which issues you want updates on, and poll responses you opt into.

Donations, when they open, will be processed by a reputable payment processor; we will not store card numbers ourselves. And as we say everywhere money is mentioned: contributions to a 501(c)(4) social welfare organization are not tax-deductible.

4. What we will never do with your data

  • Never sell it. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone, at any price.
  • Never rent, trade, or share it with political campaigns, parties, or candidates. We're nonpartisan, and your inbox stays yours.
  • Never use dark patterns — no pre-checked boxes, no "unsubscribe by mail only," no guilt-trip exit screens.

At launch, members will be able to see, correct, and delete their information, and every email we send will carry a working one-click unsubscribe.

5. Advocacy, not advice

This site presents advocacy positions — things we believe and will argue for — plus statistics cited to their public sources. Nothing here is legal, tax, financial, or investment advice. For decisions about your own situation, talk to a qualified professional.

6. Children

This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children — today we don't knowingly collect information from anyone.

7. Changes to this policy

When this policy changes — including its final counsel-reviewed version at launch — we'll post the new version here with a visible date and a plain-English note about what changed. No silent edits.

8. Questions

Ask us. The Contact page reaches the founding team, and privacy questions go to the top of the pile. Anything asked more than once becomes a public answer on the FAQ.
