1. Who we are, and preview status

This site is published by 120K or Less America, a national membership organization in formation — a planned 501(c)(4) social welfare organization with a separate 501(c)(3) educational foundation also planned. Because we are in formation, everything interactive on this site is a preview: the join form, donation tiers, contact form, and shop are demonstrations of what opens at national launch. Submitting, clicking, or reading anything here does not create a membership, a contract, a donation, or any relationship beyond "visitor to a website."

When membership actually opens, it will come with its own clear terms — and joining will be a deliberate act, never something you did by accident.

2. Advocacy positions, not advice

Our platform consists of advocacy positions: policies we believe in and will argue for. They are presented as beliefs and goals — "we believe," "we support" — not as settled fact, law, or a promise of any outcome. Statistics on this site are cited to their public sources (SSA, Census Bureau, BLS, and others as noted inline). Nothing on this site is legal, tax, financial, or investment advice, and it should not be relied on as any of those. For your own situation, consult a qualified professional.

3. Accuracy, and no warranties

We work hard to be accurate — sourcing every number is a founding habit, not a legal formality. Even so, the site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from your use of it. If you spot an error, we genuinely want to know: tell us and we'll fix it in the open.

4. Intellectual property

The text of this site, the "120K or Less" name, the "Vote is Power" emblem, and our mottos belong to the organization in formation. Here's how we'd like them used:

• Please do share pages, quote us with attribution, and show the site to anyone who works for a living. Spreading the word is the point.
• Please don't use our name or emblem to imply we endorse a product, candidate, campaign, or organization — we endorse none — or reproduce the site wholesale as if it were yours.

Cited statistics belong to their sources; our write-ups of them belong to us.

5. Acceptable use

Use the site honestly. Specifically, don't:

• misrepresent yourself as speaking for, employed by, or endorsed by 120K or Less;
• scrape or harvest the site to build spam lists or misleading databases;
• use the site, its forms, or its name to harass, defraud, or deceive anyone;
• attempt to disrupt, probe, or compromise the site or its hosting.

When member forums open at launch, they'll carry their own community standards, written with the same plainness as this page — and members will have a voice in them.

6. Third-party sources and links

Our research pages cite and link to outside sources — government statistics, published surveys, proposed legislation. Those organizations don't endorse us and we don't control their content; citations mean "here's where the number comes from," nothing more.

7. Governing law

These terms will be governed by the laws of our state of organization — state of formation to be announced as part of our launch disclosures. When it's set, this section gets a real state name, not a mystery.

8. Changes to these terms

As launch approaches, these terms will be finalized with counsel and reposted here with a visible date and a plain-English summary of what changed. We don't do silent edits — to our terms or to anything else. Questions in the meantime go to the Contact page.
